WHITE ART PLASTER - UNFINISHED MUSEUM COLLECTION Each piece in our Museum Collection is a unique work of art. The pieces are individually hand cast in latex molds from industrial strength white art plaster. After being removed from the molds, each piece is then carefully inspected and finished by hand. The unfinished pieces can be finished with any type of paint, using a base coat first to seal. To repair any nicks or chips, use a fine grade sandpaper (220 grit) or steel wool to lightly sand them out. To fill in any holes or bubbles, use vinyl spackle. (Some sanding may be required) The Museum Collection is not recommended for outdoor use. All of the columns may be used as table bases; such as coffee tables, end tables or dining tables. If you are using a single base, be sure that the top is no more than THREE TIMES the diameter or width of the base. For larger table tops, choose a pair of bases for sturdy support.
